Born and raised in Bangalore, India, I've always had a bit of a rebellious spirit. You see, growing up, there was this expected path laid out for me – you know, the whole good grades, stable job, get married, settle down routine. But something inside me always yearned for something more, something different.
Having an Engineering and MBA degree, I was all set to get married and settle down. Until something inside me called out to me that something wasn't right. I called off my engagement at 27, packed my bags, and moved abroad to work at Google. It was a wild call! I had to navigate living abroad independently, adapting to a new lifestyle, and prove myself in a competitive, international environment while having had extremely low self esteem or self confidence. But guess what? ..
